What youll be doing:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business team (Client Success, technical project managers, operations) and software engineers
- Visualize design ideas using sketches, storyboards, process flows, etc.
- Validate user workflows and review with relevant stakeholders prior to engineering implementation
- Design user interface elements
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and flow
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, accessibility, confusing navigation, lack of clarity, etc.)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
- Report to the executive team on product goals, metrics, and user insights
Requirements/Must Haves
- Comfortable working in an environment where innovation and change are the norm and often encouraged
- A degree or certification in UX/UI design
- A passion for building great digital products
- 3+ years of full-time experience working in UX/UI design at a product company
- Experience working directly with engineers & guiding implementation of designs
- A portfolio of prior products you’ve designed
